MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) will soon launch the Win-A-Billion lotto game and the Birthday Panalo game. PCSO General Manager Royina Garma said that they are just waiting for a legal opinion from the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) and the Department of Budget Management (DBM). In an inquiry regarding the PCSO future products, Garma said,
“Actually may dalawa [games] po nasa pipeline ngayon. Suppose to be, we could have launched it December last year, but medyo may mga legal concerns kaming kailangan i-address pa muna ngayon and hopefully we will be able to address this one. May mga hinihintay pa kaming legal opinion for us to proceed.”
“We are just waiting for the legal opinion from the GPPB sa DBM kasi may legal issue on how we procure the game, and hopefully we will be able to get a favorable opinion from them. Actually, everything is ready.”
Win-A-Billion Lotto Game
The Win-A-Billion lotto game will be drawn daily three (3) times a week. The ticket will cost 99.00 Pesos. The game will have a guaranteed jackpot prize of 1 Billion Pesos. The consolation prizes will range from 100 million to 500 million pesos.
Birthday Panalo Game
Meanwhile, the Birthday Digit game is the 2-digit game which will assure the bettor of winning on his/her birthday.
“We will launch the Birthday-Panalo game. This will be the first online betting game.” In this game, the player will have a guaranteed 1-year opportunity to win.
The new games were hinted by General Manager Garma during the releasing of checks to Local Government Units (LGUs) and Mandatory contribution to Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The guidelines and details on these new games will soon be announced as soon as they got approval from aforesaid agencies.
The biggest jackpot prize won throughout PCSO lotto games history was during October 14, 2018 where the two (2) bettors won 1.18 Billion pesos.
